Half Past Four's debut album Rabbit In The Vestibule is a deep, thoughtful album filled with musicianship and great talent.  Fans of Prog rockers King Crimson, Rush and Robert Fripp will most likely be foaming at the mouth after listening to this musical journey.

However for the average music listener, Rabbit In The Vestibule will most likely be lost on them.  Although all the musicians appearing on this album are highly talented individuals, the complex bass lines, ethereal keyboard tracks, multi dimensional drumming and story telling like vocals are appreciated but lost from my mind seconds after they've been played.

If you are a fan of deconstructing the complexities of Prog rock with a jazzy influence or thought the band Tool would have been good if they weren't so heavy, then Rabbit In The Vestibule is an album you need to hear.  But if you just want an album to rock out to, stay clear of this one.
