| Constantin Necrasov |
| a. k.a "Kostya" |
| |
Constantin doesn't perceive himself just as a musician. His interests go beyond the plain sound-extraction-via-pulling-the-strings-on-his-strat, into the realm of thermionic emissions, Tesla coils and Theremins. Being a semi-professional self-taught electronic engineer, Constantin creates his own sound in the most literal sense.
"The equipment that I design and use in the studio and at our live shows is altogether an integral part of who I am as a musician. I adapt it to serve my own needs and to help me create a unique musical identity", we heard him say to the interviewer.
Constantin credits Robert Fripp, Wolfgang Flur, and David Gilmore as being the main inspirations for his quest for the ultimate SOUND.
In Half Past Four, Constantin writes lyrics, composes and arranges music, and fulfills the duties of the bands technician and electronics? geek. |
