Well it was one of a kind...
The 3 day festival of russian rockers and DJs. Rivers of vodka were flowing freely, Wasaga Beach was near and the sun machine was coming down, and we certainly had a PARTY.
This unique event was organized by local musicians, and was entirely based on peoples good will and love for music.
It was quickly dubbed "Russian Canadian Woodstock" and the memory of it still lingers in the community.
HPF was one of the headliners on the show. But there were bands from accross the border and people were driving and flying in from as far as Alabama and Florida. |
