HPF is scheduled to play a show with an awesome Rush tribute band "My Favorite Headache" at the Rockpile.The Rockpile is a very nice venue and Toronto's hidden jem. For those Torontonians who are familar with the no-longer-existing "The Big Bop" marvelous clubs, would be surprized to find out that The Rockpile is under the same management and the same staff as the forementioned cult venue. Our bassist Les and guitarist Constantin represented HPF at the JetLag festival in July (see videos) , along with our former drummer Michael Tolstikov. They are returning to the U.S. for another show at a camping festival on September 10th.  That's right, folks. We are now in the process of working on our next full-length CD. It will feature exciting, cool, new music.The music on this upcoming album has been written in the last 2 years and composed entirely by members of the current lineup of the band.In addition, this time Les will utilize his Chapman Stick in 3 songs, Constantin is experimenting with new sounds on his guitar, Iggy flexed his composition muscle extensively and Kyree wrote all the lyrics (no translating from Slavic languages this time).We hope that this record will continue the trend of blowing your minds

Half Past Four is due to open for 3 really cool Progressive bands: Montreal's Unexpect and Manahil as well as Netherland's Stream of Passion, in Toronto on October 19th. Yes, we did say that we won't be playing any shows until our next album release, but this is too good a show to miss!
